Going back to their roots of menswear essentials, Tom Notte & Bart Vandebosch of Les Hommes found the true spirit of their AW20 collection in darkness. Contemporary elegance executed mostly in a jet-black colourway is timeless for a reason – it not only allows for easy morning choices but also looks just so damn good. Foregoing a catwalk for showroom appointments this season, Notte and Vandebosch presented the collection in the form of a lookbook which makes the clothes sing, as enhanced in their form by the styling tricks of our Executive Fashion Director Garth Allday Spencer. A match made in heaven you say? Absolutely – we can already see Mister Spencer showing off the heavy military jackets and chunky knits with splashes of colour all over Ten Towers. Other standout moments in the collection come in the form of logo-emblazoned shirting and the classic blazers which are somewhat of a Les Hommes signature. Perfectly-made, easy-to-wear and recognised for their small details – these are the kind of clothes everyone can use a little bit more of.
