The Commodores once insisted they were “easy like Sunday morning.” Lanvin are too. They show their menswear on Sunday mornings, the final day of Paris menswear week, and it’s all about ease. The ease of a wide-cut trouser, a slouchy jacket, a t-shirt translated into loose, breezy silk. We were all sweating on plastic seats – although the lovely duo of Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver gave us handy fans to make our own aircon. Maybe the thpugh process behind those chairs was to make us all hanker after a giant, billowy silky trench coat. The ones Lanvin makes so very nicely.
