We like a sandal. Nothing like the feel of a cool breeze on the ol’ big toe as we stroll around Golden Square. However, a sandal, especially a Lanvin one, needs a well-manicured foot within it. Hence we’re starting a campaign to look after one’s feet: clean and cut those nails, wax those toes, pumice those heels, scrub away the calluses and, above all, moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. Also, a touch of clear nail varnish never made anyone less of a man, and it does make the toes sparkle so seductively beneath the leather and canvas straps.
