Pre-fall 2019It’s been a rather cracking week for Kim Jones, hasn’t it? Just last Wednesday it was announced the prolific design talent would follow in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld and join the house of Fendi as its artistic director for womenswear, whilst still keeping his post as the leading man at Dior Men’s. Jones has even more celebrating to do, however, as today’s his birthday.
We thought this would be an apt time, then, to celebrate the designer’s past two and a bit years at Dior. From his pastel-hued debut for the house in June 2018 and that massive Tokyo Pre-fall show later that year, to the Judy Blame-inspired opulence of AW20 – indulge in 10 Dior looks that truly represent the sheer artistry of one of this generation’s greatest creative visionaries.
