Fashion! Fashion! More SS17 campaign action – following on from their dazzling collaboration with H&M last year and first co-ed show this season, Kenzo have unveiled their latest campaign photographed by the Durimel twins. Boys who flip-flop in front and behind the lens – this time shooting threesome of artistic talent including Golden Globe winner Tracee Ellis Ross, Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams and cello wunderkind Kelsey Lu. A menage a trois, if you will. It will all be accompanied with an original short film, written and directed by the mastermind behind Bey’s Lemonade, and all-round music video guru, Kahlil Joseph, for whom this will be his second collaboration with Kenzo. Given the iconique levels reached by his Queen B, not to mention Kendrick Lamar and FKA Twigs, the short film, titled “Music is My Mistress”, will likely induce similar levels of hysteria. According to the notes, the film with showcase the fact that “music is much more than mere sound and rhythm. This story casts music herself as the central character of an unfolding drama across cultures, space, and time”. Woof. Keep your eyes peeled.
