KENZO: DRESSES BEYONCE FOR MS. CARTER TOUR
Love seeing designers original sketches. When pencils, paint, and pantone pens (cinnamon for the enclosed I’m guessing?) suddenly breathes life into a designers imaginings. Here’s Kenzo’s for Beyonce, who recently appeared in these looks on the Paris leg of her Ms. Carter tour. Wondering if Humberto Leon and Carol Lim’s team had a big atelier night out on the tiles, screaming (As we would) from the sidelines. Googling how the actual garments turned out, the only thing that seems missing from the illustrations is wind. The poor dear seems constantly caught in a gale.
