For cruise, the Kenzo girl has gone, to quote Natalie, “En vacance – a la plage.” If you’re not versed in the language of love, then allow me to translate. She has gone on holiday – to the beach. And what is her beach attire? Glad you asked. It’s a wardrobe of suitably sandy-coloured vestments primed for lounging by the sea and, if you don’t mind getting said vestments wet, frolicking in the sea. In fact we can’t imagine a more pleasurable summer pastime than frolicking in the sea dressed in Kenzo. These clothes are light and loose, short of sleeve and wide of leg. They come, as is fitting for summer dressing, with a pair of sandals. If this collection could sing, it would sound like the Beach Boys.
