George Condo is the very talented fella responsible for the grotesque masks worn by models at Adam Kimmel’s A/W 2010 show. The American artist also created the cover art for Kanye West’s record ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ which looked a lot like the description and was subsequently banned in certain stores. Being a big fan of the likes of Ralph Steadman I’m completely captivated by the possessed characters that inhabit Condo’s work. I could have a little chat with the ballerina in black, as she hangs open mouthed around my neck on the bus home. Appearing mental health on public transport is a great way of keeping those stinky civilians away.
