And the sea of models parted and Julien slowly descended the stairs to a rousing round of applause. It was a bit like when Moses parted water. But that was at the end. Before that there was a show, which was all about revealing unexpected slithers of skin. Zips were pulled up to reveal short, richly embellished under layers. Geometric cut outs covered the upper body revealing both hidden layers of sheer mesh and skin. Most importantly it shimmered. Every layer, every fabric was embroidered to the nines to catch the light, giving the effect of not a model in a dress but a walking, shimmering mirage.
