Jil Sander: Ready-to-wear AW16

Gorgeous and graphic. We love a bit of the clean, lean Jil Sander stuff. We like to think the Jil Sander heroine is called something with lots of those dots and dashes and slashes as accents, like Simønë Smörgåsbor, and she lives in a lovely white box full of mid-century modern Danish furniture somewhere in the hills around Stuttgart. She loves those ginormous Agnes Martin canvasses with not much colour on them, and Carl Andre sculptures that look like a bit of kitchen lino. And she dresses head to toe in Rodolfo Paglialunga’s slick Sander, his double-breasted, clinically white coats, his fabulously sharp slip dresses in glistening metallic tweeds. She also loves a savagely pointed stillie. Don’t we all though?
