JIL SANDER: MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 14
The rigor and precision and conciseness of the collection always gives me faith in a brand that knows their identity and totally explores and capitalizes on it. Cut with razor sharp precision crisp cottons slim line boyish trousers with little elements of surprise with volume in the back of jackets and tops gave a three dimension 360 degree consideration to each piece. Her palette of navy and white was interrupted by brick as a highlight colour and painterly brush stroked prints also punctuated the collection. Pristine pinafores and sculptural raffia coats defined the silhouette. With bold monochrome options making an impactful contribution to the whole collection.
