This has us harking back to the halcyon days of UGG, which, for us, have nothing to do with 1970s Aussie surf wear and everything to do with the mid noughties leggings/UGGs/Parka combo – the go to ‘off duty celeb’ look from about 2004-2010. That all feels a long time ago, but now Jeremy Scott’s cooking up a capsule collection with the brand, those days could well be upon us once more. “I bought a pair of UGG Classic boots and fell in absolute love with them”, he said, “I could not pass up the opportunity to do my own take on the Classic boot”.
Scott has never struggled with imbuing his designs with his own character and personality, and this limited edition series with UGG screams Scott maximalism. Take for example, the Classic Short Jewel, one of eight styles available in the collection, and encrusted with enough sequins and sparkle to fund a small principality.
