How do we put this, Eighties power dressing taken from the party pages of Tatler for the Tatler party girl that lives in all of us. But with a slight futuristic slant. Well it is J.W. Anderson so it’s hardly going to be a retro celebration. Apparently this is a woman’s odyssey. And what does a woman’s odyssey look like? Ruffle trimmed leather in shades of pale pink and beige, a leg of mutton sleeve, with a bit of ruching, some ribbed and ruffled knits and a sheer lace cycling short thrown in for good measure. It’s the clothing of an 80’s telenovela villaness. And set to a soundtrack of Fran Lebowitz’s voice.
