Gorgeous birds with brightly coloured plumes- very V.S appropriate!
All this getting on and off planes begins to become a little boring after a while. 3 different time zones in one week, and we find ourselves asking..nay, DESPAIRING in some airport as to why no ones invented teleportation yet?! We are guilty of travel blogging ourselves (www.pringlescotland.com), but are chosing to blame this speedy new medium for our sudden desperation to zip around planet earth even faster. Our case in point- a rather interesting post on nowness.com courtesy of Brazilian blogger Alice Ferraz, which is basically an itinerary of must-sees for those visiting the conference. Call us spoiled brats, but basically we want to be there, and we want to know more! All the more so, now that we’ve heard Suzy Menkes’ take on things: ’Brazil, with it’s steaming economy and opulent upper class creates an enthusiasm for luxury goods rarely seen in the Western world.’ Plus the fact that Mario Testino is a scheduled key note speaker. If only it we’re as simple as a beam me up Scottie style command. Guess Team 10 will just have to suffer a few more flights in lap of luxury? Life’s not so bad after all!
