News hot off the fashion presses – word has just reached our inboxes that Hugo Boss are to stage a combined co-ed BOSS show at this season’s Pitti Uomo festival in Florence. Which adds to the feeling that this is shaping up to be quite the season for the festival – Hugo Boss joining guest designers J.W.Anderson and Off-White’s Virgil Abloh on the line-up. “HUGO has always been our more progressive brand. We are very much looking forward to presenting the collection at the Pitti Uomo – one of the world’s most important platforms for men’s clothing and accessory collections,” Ingo Wilts, the CBO of Hugo Boss said in a statement this morning. “It’s the ideal setting for showing innovations in fashion and for presenting the brand to a relevant audience of buyers and press.” Excitment now palpable – can June please arrive (in lieu of any other Italian vocabulary) pronto pronto per favore?
