The times they are a-changin over at the Hermes HQ. Nadege Vanhee-Cybulski has been announced as the fashion house’s new artistic director of women’s ready-to-wear, following the announcement of Christophe Lemaire’s departure from the role, earlier this week. Formally at Maison Martin Margiela and Celine, the designer has been working at The Row since March of this year. The French-native will present her inaugural collection for Hermes at Paris Fashion Week next March. “I’m delighted to be joining Hermes,” Vanhee-Cybulski said, “[It’s] a house I so admire and whose values I share wholeheartedly.” How’s that for a bit of Thursday morning fashion industry gossip? Juicy, we suspect.
