Happy April Fools! Or is it? Well we were hoping it was but it appears that after all those rumours flying around that Hedi Slimane will in fact be leaving Saint Laurent. Sad face. “I am very grateful to Hedi Slimane, and the whole Yves Saint Laurent team, for having set the path that the house has successfully embraced, and which will grant longevity to this legendary brand.” was the word from François-Henri Pinault CEO of Kering and I don’t think we could really say it better than that. The only other thing now is to guess who will replace him. Is it Anthony Vaccarello who everyone has pegged? Or perhaps somebody else? Not ones for gossip here at Ten Towers we will just wait and see. Best of luck to Hedi wherever he ends up next.
