Hed Mayner: Menswear SS25

Israeli fashion designer Hed Mayner knows how to please a crowd. Using this SS25 season to reimagine his go-to techniques, he focused on expanding proportions and working with new patterns. Imagining garments as a means of cocooning the body, Mayner sent a series of wide-shouldered jackets and overly baggy trousers down his Parisian runway.

Focusing distinctly on textiles, Mayner allowed the materials to speak for themselves, featuring an assortment of finishes to emphasise dimension and nuance. Coated and uncoated, shiny and matte, layered and zipped; Mayner used the details of each piece to perfectly toe the line between experimental yet understated. Innovation was present in the patterns Mayner used too, with a slashed cable knit used almost as a guide for air across the skin. Shirts were unconventional, imbued with pleats, belts and back-to-front shaping to modernise the traditional.

A collaboration with Reebok sorted everything from the ankles down, with a new Reebok LTD Blacktop and Classic Leather Premium sneaker giving models a sporty, streetwear-infused edge. Add to cart!
