Luxury jewellery producer Hatton Labs and watchmaking aficionados Mad, have put their heads together to create an exquisite new timepiece called Portcullis. Marking a significant step for both brands (it’s the first time Hatton Labs have ever created a watch), the new model sports a combination of classic expertise and contemporary design elements. Blending Hatton Labs’ commitment to reimagining heritage jewellery using ethical practices and Mad’s aptitude for inventive watch design inspired by historic architecture, the release is a must-have for any clued-up collector.
Fusing elements of resilience and protection with beauty and a sense of fragility, the dazzling timepiece is inspired by a medieval fortress. Featuring irregularly set diamonds that form fortress-like spikes, the piece is characterised by the innovative craftsmanship associated with both brands. Set with a custom mirror-polished dial, the crown is comprised of a stunning sea-foam sapphire and the bezel sits with 40 signature white pyramid baguette diamonds. Totalling 5.495 carats, the new offering is a truly luxurious addition to any horophile’s awaiting wrist.
Launching exclusively on HBX, the drop will be ultra-limited, with only five pieces available at a tidy price of $158,000. Pre-order here.
