Breathtaking show today at Haider Ackermann – I am obviously a fan but this season it felt a little more sumptuous and romantic, loved the jeweled silk gowns wrapped and bound around the body like collapsing kimonos. There was a real sensuality in the use of fabrics as they lapped around the girls thighs and billowed behind them like gorgeous puffs of silk smoke. I LOVED this so very much, especially the strongly coloured pieces which you don’t often see from Haider, but which he did so so brilliantly – an inspiring wonderful collection.
