Guess USA’s AW25 Campaign Is Soaked In Rock N’ Roll Spirit

Guess USA’s AW25 collection is here to kit you out for living the American dream. Inspired by all things USA, the offering spans menswear and womenswear, blending classic Americana codes with a late ‘90s edge. The kind of clothes that would feel at home in the punk-tinged wardrobe of a rockstar WAG, the collection harnesses a streetwise sex appeal that manifests as itty-bitty mini skirts and shorts and cropped jackets coated in faux fur.

Designed by Nicolai Marciano, the collection draws inspiration from the long-lost rock n’ roll scene in LA, when the City of Angels danced to the sounds of bass guitar and crashing drums. Channelling the same fearless, no-rules energy that defined the era, the collection is brilliantly audacious. Boleros with swollen shoulders are finished with a gold tint, whilst bomber jackets pasted with animal prints give the drop an unmistakable bite. Denim is chopped and frayed to create jackets and skirts with a worn-out finish, while an oversized Penny Lane coat is crafted from a thick shearling. An angular G emblem, pulled from the brand’s archive, appears throughout – swollen and shrunk to sit on top of belt buckles or as a bold embellishment on a skirt. Form-fitting lace camis turn up the heat, and oversized Buckle bags sporting metal hardware and studs conjure a rebellious spirit.

Realised in a Coyote Ugly-coded campaign lensed by long-time Guess USA collaborator Eli Russel Linnetz and set against the backdrop of a red-tinged dive bar, this spring/summer collection is sex on a stick and it’s primed to party.
