Cat lovers of the world, this one is for you. Fashion’s favourite ginger, stylist-slash-illustrator extraordinaire and just an all-round creative genius Grace Coddington is bringing her canine fashions to life. First premiered with selected accessories at the Louis Vuitton resort 2019 show on the French Riviera, our new fave collaboration features Grace’s illustrations of her dearest Persians Pumpkin and Blanket as well as Nicolas Ghesquière’s dog Léon splattered across the brand’s signature monogram print as well as unique graphic animal-face-shaped bags. Now, the wider collection (smartly titled Catogram) including ready-to-wear, scarves and shoes is going on sale in a UK-exclusive at a Selfridges pop-up in London.
Remember that time Grace made us all collectively snap our fingers in excitement by wearing a set of PJs to the Met Gala? With her LV collab, this major moment is getting its sequel. A pair of silk monogrammed pyjamas in a rusty-black colour combo embody that memorable Grace Coddington look to a T. Perhaps accessorised with a pair of matching slides, a Petite Malle with some cat stickers and a blazing red frizzy wig and you can have the chicest Halloween costume of the year? Or just drop the wig and just be enviably chic, totally up to you. The collection will go on sale globally on November 2nd, but until then, you will have to get yourself to 400 Oxford Street and enter the Pumpkin’s blow-up mouth in order to get your hands on the goodies. And as Susie Bubble showcased on her Instagram – this is a children-friendly shopping experience.
The Grace Coddington x Louis Vuitton pop-up at Selfridges in London is opened until January 16th 2019.
