In news just announced, Givenchy will show they’re SS16 ladies ready-to-wear in New York? Why? To celebrate the opening of their new flagship boutique. So, it’s not a permanent move, but enough of one to send out a ripple of excitement. As Riccardo Tisci said to WWD today, “It’s a very delicate day for America, and so the show is going to be a celebration of family and love. It gives me so much energy, and I’m very inspired by the culture. I feel free when I’m there.“
