What does one pack for a weekend getaway to Paris? Cat-eye shades? Of course. A lighter to spark up your super skinny cigarettes? Bien-sûr. Those acid-washed pair of bum shorts that have lingered at the back of your wardrobe? Maybe not. Being selective when it comes to packing can turn out to be rather difficult, but Clare Weight Keller and her trusty Givenchy ateliers are here to make your packing routine a little less of a chore. Like all good things (Atomic Kitten and Sugababes, we’re looking at you), the Tag collection comes in three. The triple set of bags are equipped to make the travelling man’s life as easy and blissful as listening to Whole Again on repeat.
First up is the Tag Weekender duffle, which is as sleek as it is functional. With a flat base surface and soft rectangular frame, the bag is printed with the Givenchy logo in contrasting lettering. Sturdy metal rings anchor two leather straps, perfect for flashing the duffle on your shoulder or lashing it over your back on a quick dash to the metro. Looking for something a little smaller? There’s also a Tag bum bag. Once bound to the hips of market stall traders and dodgy men at festivals, Waight Keller has elevated the traditional fanny pack into a larger silhouette made in a buttery soft leather, embossed with the address of the Givenchy Atelier. And for the day-to-day happenings, there’s the Tag messenger bag, which when folded can be carried like a clutch – prepped and ready for you to walk through the Parisian streets – purse first.
The Givenchy Tag collection is available to buy online and in selected stores.
