GIORGIO ARMANI: FILMS OF CITY FRAMES
It’s not often you hear a voice this honeyed. It’s so soothing. Like the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The film it’s narrating is a pilot for Films of City Frames, a new project hosted by Giorgio Armani. Students from six of the world’s finest film schools have been asked to create short films about city life as seen through Giorgio Armani-tinted spectacles. Quite literally – through the fashion house’s eyewear collection. The designer addressed the students saying, “Every city has its own unique energy, which comes especially from the young people who live there. Films of City Frames was created for you, in order to involve you in a project of discovery and exploration; it’s an invitation to investigate freedom of expression.” Sounds, as Patsy Stone would say, “fabulous darling.”
