GARETH PUGH: BACKSTAGE GIRLS PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S 14
Mr. Pugh’s palette has come over all minty fresh. His gothic warrior woman has become an ice Maiden, and said maiden has a wicked brow- that’s almost a little Divine. She wears gowns, and favours outfits with a severely cinched waist. For us it was all about the torso, which became distinctly sculptural…polished….a little bit shop mannequin actually? Like Allen Jones sculptures, but in a mid to late 90’s palette. Is it just us or are a good few shows giving off a major approaching the millennium vibe at the moment?
