This season Fendi felt so very, very right!!! Loved the colours, the sherbert peaches, yellows, pale pinks punctuated by bright blues and red. Cubism played a huge part of the structure of the pieces. Squares ruled supreme and it worked. Clever accessories that the brand has made it’s fortune from were super strong modern and wantable. The bags were witty and smart and super lux and the rubik cube studded bags were brilliant, big small, fur, leather just soooooo gooooood. Also canvas bags with the transparent pockets to pop your Fendi clutch into were so practical but clever. The shoes too felt bespoke with the tiered leather tops and tiny pyramid shaped studs covered the heels in brilliant reds and yellow. The clothes too, so effortlessly chic and understated but no question of the luxury, buttery leathers, fur and easy shapes made for one of my favourite Fendi collections.
