If you’re a Fendi woman on the go, listen up. As part of the house’s 100 year celebrations, the maison has teamed up with Red Wing to reinvent the latter’s beloved Moc boots.
This boot-loafer hybrids are made for walking. “They’re made for busy women,” says Silvia Venturini Fendi, who says the shoe’s “sporty attitude” is the perfect pairing with an elegant evening dress.
A meeting of Italian precision and American grit, the Fendi x Red Wing Classic Moc boot bridges heritage and innovation. Designed to mark Fendi’s centenary and Red Wing’s 120th anniversary, this reimagining of the 1952 Classic Moc blends the best of both worlds: workwear with a touch of Roman sophistication.
Here, supple Cuoio Romano leather steps up in two of the maison’s signature shades: sienna red and natural beige. Key components of the shoe include an interlaced FF monogram, tone-on-tone stitching and a loafer-inspired toe polish that keep in line with the boot’s rugged origins.
As with all Fendi releases, craftsmanship is at the forefront. Each shoe’s upper section spends over five hours in the hands of 30 artisans in Capannuccia, Tuscany, before heading stateside for final assembly – an 80-step masterclass in workmanship.
Debuting on Fendi’s SS25 catwalk, the Moc boot cements workwear’s continued grip on all things luxury. The message? Function and fashion make the perfect pair. Shop the boots here.
