See those flowers? They are called bird of paradise flowers. They are beautiful, colourful and elegant. It’s fitting then, that they featured in Fendi’s AW15 show which was also beautiful, colourful and elegant. There was bright red and burnt umber, lily white and jet black; fur (obviously), leather and ponyskin. The girls wore the puffa coats and jackets had a Russian-oligarch feel about them. Elsewhere, they wore headbands – a detail that left them looking not like 90s school children but 20s socialites. Like one of the Mitford sisters.
