Fendi: MILAN FASHION WEEK A/W 14 

Much anticipated for our start to Thursday’s Milan Fashion Week, one of our fave’s, the Fendi show, is the second uber brand that Karl Lagerfeld designs for. It opened with drones hovering above us filming our every move and Cara Delevingne striding out dangling one of the much acclaimed fur gonks fashioned into the man himself – a mini Karl. She dangled it from her white gloved index finger wearing a full fur form fitting hooded black cashmere coat. Overall the collection felt super slick, modern and slightly sporty but always luxurious – using of course the brands core defining material, fur, as well as shaved mink, printed pony hair, fox, all used in the unique way that Fendi more than excels at. Never bulky or clumsy but precise and adventurous, surprising us every season. Especially loved the smaller bomber jackets with the flirty skirt and the ‘eyes of Laura Mars’ inspired long split skits in dark khaki’s and brown. Lots of luxe cashmere complemented the fur pieces and of course some of the most covetable bags and accessories of the season. Obvi I loved it.
