Ten Loves: Fendi Karligraphy Bag

Life might go on as the vicious fashion circle continues, but the world will never forget Karl Lagerfeld. The legendary designer’s heritage lives on in many different forms as his friends and creative family continue to pay homage to stories this genius started during his time. The latest incarnation of the Lagerfeld legacy comes in the form of Fendi’s new IT bag, inspired by a logo originally designed by Kaiser Karl himself back in 1981.

Called the Karligraphy after the cursive logo, the mini cross-body square flap bag carries the buckle of a handwritten double F, which was originally imagined as a print in the brand’s ready-to-wear collections. It was then revived big time for AW19, emblazoned across garments throughout the last Fendi collection Lagerfeld had his hands in. Here though, Silvia Venturini Fendi presents it front and central in gold, on a wide selection of leathers. You can choose between calfskin, patent or exotic, each accompanied by a golden chain matching the buckle. Simple and timeless, yet uniquely Fendi. – the Karligraphy bag is a souvenir of the past times made for today. Actually, made for 25th December. Santa can you hear me?

The Fendi Karligraphy bag is available to buy online and in selected stores.
