The impending doom of a second potential lockdown might put any plans you had of exploring the globe on pause. Your inner adventurer is probably bursting to get out into the open right now, and Jonathan Anderson has come up with a solution. The brand new Eye/Loewe/Nature collection was designed with the escapist in mind – equipped to make any Loewe man feel like an adventurer (even if he’s trapped indoors all day).
The collection comes packed with outdoorsy staples, including khaki parkas, neon yellow windbreakers and t-shirts stamped with a cartoonish eye motif. There’s a definite craftiness to the pieces – whether it’s cargo trousers made from mismatched camouflage prints or shirts made from deadstock flannel check.
Like always, Anderson designed with an environmentally conscious hat on. A cracking slew of convertible backpacks were made from camouflage army jackets and totes were created using vintage fleece jackets. All cotton used for the collection was either organic or upcycled from production discards, with recycled plastic bottles used to make polyester for a series of knitted jumpers. With each sale from the Eye/Loewe/Nature AW20 collection, the brand will donate 15 euros to environmental causes.
So whether you’re heading out to the mountains to escape all this madness, or simply scavenging through your sofa to try and find the TV remote – feel like a true adventurer in this brand new Loewe uniform.
