Erdem: Ready-to-wear SS16

Erdem was set to a soundtrack of stormy weather, which considering as the heavens have just opened, well it is London, the’s going to be rain at some point so it seems quite appropriate, and a mass of models sliding across the runway on a wooden raft. In a weird way, it felt quite Peter Pan’s Wendy. There was something rather Victoriana nightdress about it. Bid fronted and covered in tiny ruffles with bows layered on top, the bottom halves made of tiered floral printed chiffon- well you can’t have an Erdem show without a little floral of some sort- almost resembling a prairie skirt. Shoulders were bare thanks to pouffy drop shoulder ballon sleeves.
