EMPORIO ARMANI: MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 14
As I glance down at the show notes for the inspiration of the collection the headline reads Water Lilies. He describes his inspiration as a vision of a garden at the beginning of time where the water reflects the shadows of plants, flowers and clouds. His aim was to find this aspect of nature and combine it with the rigors of high technology in the use of fabrics and shapes. Lots of pale blues, grey and dawn pink giving an ethereal fragility. Soft and flowing tailoring. But the signature soft tailored masculine mens suiting still appeared enforcing the trade mark of the brand.
