EMPORIO ARMANI: MILAN A/W 13
The word kajal was projected on the opening screens before the show- what is it, what does it mean? well copying from the press release ‘Kajal as a range of colours , from soft creams, and Pinks to dark shades and mineral hues.’ So as the show began soft greys, vanilla, palest pink dominated the pallet for the collection. Textures too we soft and welcoming. Mohair balloon pants and oversized jumpers definitely made you want to cosy up and snuggle amongst the cashmere. Coats too were all oversized in the palest hues double faced cashmere with graphic shapes which enabled a modernity that wasn’t austere at all.
