ELIE SAAB: HAUTE COUTURE AUTUMN/WINTER 2013- ‘A ROYAL AFFAIR’
We’d ordinarily throw ‘backstage’ somewhere into the title of this post as believe it or not these glittering groupings of Elie Saab goddesses were captured in the wings of the designers recent show. There’s a twirling dreaminess to it that sort of reminds us of old musicals…that beautifully strange interlude in Singing in The Rain maybe, where Cyd Charisse seduces Gene Kelly?
