Fashion East designer Ed Marler has erected a Christmas tree at Hoi Polloi at Ace Hotel London Shoreditch. Entitled Our Lady of Shoreditch, the tree is topped with a pink crown (naturally – this is Ed Marler) and a neon halo. Commissioned by Hoi Polloi, it’s decorated with marabou feathers, broken plates and a bejewelled doll. Not your conventional conifer but then Ed isn’t a conventional fashion designer. And what would he like for Christmas? A pair of Manolos worn by the male models in his show apparently. We hope you get them, Ed.
