We LOVE the concept of ‘back to school’, gets us all excited about new pencil cases, and shiny leather lace-ups. Editors at the show were even handed note pads, like the ones you might buy at Rymans ( a little classier), but Dsquared’s concept of a uniform was a lot more Ivy League preppy than the itchy burgundy polo shirts I once wore to my local comprehensive. Naturally this was sexed up in the camp ‘bad boy’ Dsquared way that we know and love. Plenty of well worn denim, and a cut that works best on brawnier types. Plenty of contemporary sportswear we need in our lives. Especially taken with exit 6, which with it’s green bomber and aviators, had something of Top Gun about it. Flying school perhaps?
