Dean and Dan looked to the surfer culture of California for their cruise and you have to admit there is a rather sporty feel to this, an undertone of watersport. Maybe it’s the second skin leggings and dresses, covered with thick white seams that gives the impression of scuba wear, or the fluty little dresses and skirts that feel rather beach party. Which really is something that you associate with the Sunshine state. As is patchwork suede, which makes an appearance here too. There’s something rather hippie about patchwork suede no? Anyway, think of this as a sort of ode to California in the form of a clothing letter to what it does best, beach culture and free love.
