Dries, oh Dries. How we long to wear, or even just wrap ourselves, in your fine clothing. For how else are we supposed to live out the romantic grandeur of your Spring collection? Just look at that colour. Those prints. Your unwavering commitment to the colour purple. I’m trying to think of a way to shoehorn a Purple Rain reference in here but alas, it’s not to be. Purple reign? No – puns are not supposed to be made in front of clothes like these. This time there was a touch of the 1950s Americano about it all, a bit Vegas-y with those wide-lapelled suits, the kiss curl in the hair and cats-eye sunglasses. The way the shirts were cut and emblazoned with that wing print reminded of a cowgirl. But like, a really classy one. There was even a pair of jeans for her – wide-leg, bagg. Jeans, at Dries?! I hear you cry. But it worked. Of course it did.
