Dada Dandy. How about that for a collection theme? I mean personally I wouldn’t class Salvador Dali as Dada. More Surreal. But that isn’t as neatly alliterative, is it? Anyway, this was Dali meeting Marilyn Monroe. Apparently he gave her crabs. Well, lobsters, like the one old Sal plonked on a phone and on a Schiaparelli dress back in the thirties. But now I’m talking about the Dries Van Noten show for spring, a veritable crustacean sensation of crawly lobsters and Mazza Monroe smackers peeking out of lovely tailored suits and knit jumpers. Maybe a bit warm for spring, but I guess a summer jumper is quite surreal.
