Dover Street Market Celebrate Frieze Art Fair

DOVER STREET MARKET: CELEBRATE FRIEZE ART FAIR

All six floors of our favourite lunch break skiving locale- Dover Street Market London, participated an ‘open house’ to celebrate Frieze Art Fair on Friday evening, with specially commissioned displays and events on each of their floors. For those that failed to make it- our highlights. (FROM L-R): On the ground floor- Rei Kawakubo designed windows featuring the work of Swiss Photographer Rene Burri. In celebration a range of limited edition t-shirts were created, which feature images from his archive. On the Third Floor- Fendi’s Baguettemania installation, celebrating the famous bags 15th anniversary. Including a very special bit of visual merchandising care of artist Tom Sachs. Silvia Fendi was also in store to sign copies of the new Rizzoli tome ‘Baguette’. Whilst in the Event Space (bottom two images) Aitor Throup launched a small selection of exclusive products from his ‘On the Effects of ethical stereotyping’ collection. An amazing selection of installations all under one roof, that as far as we’re concerned gave the Frieze fair itself a run for its money.
