We (and the rest of the fashion press) have really LOVED Dolce going back to its Sicilian roots. Their last women’s show in particular was a TRIUMPH, all that beautiful gold embroidery working its way down thick black wool coats and capes. Perfect for throwing over one of their lacey dresses, which whilst fabulous are maybe not so suited for the northern hemisphere’s chilly weather. Or maybe the Dolce woman rarely steps outside – she probably has a driver with a mink blanket on the back seat. So now to this season with a show titled “SEA SUN & LOVE” HAND MADE. And they’ve done stripes and prints. It worked for me. Bravo boys. Now its time for a cocktail.
