DOLCE & GABBANA: THE ONE TRAILER
“The shots taken in the new campaign bring out the natural ease and beauty of the actors in a way that only Peter Lindbergh can” say Domenico and Stefano of their deeply cinematic new ads starring Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey. We’ve just been sent this rather dramatic new trailer, which features nothing more than two empty chairs tagged with the Hollywood duo’s names, and a kind of synthesised drum roll. A bit of a meditation on the power of a name- or names as the case may be, and somehow a little LA story in set up- no wait, we mean Miami Rhapsody, always get those ones mixed up. You remember? That bit with Naomi? Well we mean the whole behind the scenes vibe. This is obviously shot more beautifully. This is Lindbergh!
