DIOR: IMPRESSIONS DIOR EXHIBIT AT MUSEE CHRISTIAN DIOR, GRANVILLE
The idea of Monsieur Dior’s childhood home- designed in the Belle Epoque style on the cliffs of Granville, has pushed me a little further into an episode of full on schmaltziness today. News reaches us of a new exhibit mounted in its lavish grounds- revealing the designers great interest in the beauty of the natural world, and ‘the themes of light and reflections’, as shared by the work of French impressionists- via direct comparison. With the slightest signs of sunshine in London, we can’t help but begin planning our summer holidays- of which the show (commencing May 4th) is set to be a highlight. Bevvies on the beach, and a cool down in Christian’s old abode? Sounds like a plan. Until September 22nd.
