Following its mass takeover of Harrods over the festive period, Dior returns to the legendary London department store for a series of pop-up shops.
Spotlighting Dior’s AW23 ready-to-wear collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the in-store boutiques manifest as a dreamy three-part series aimed at praising “the strength, fragility and beauty of femininity in perpetual motion”.
Start your journey by stepping into the City of Lights where a Parisian-inspired library is adorned by the Plan de Paris motif first introduced by Monsieur Dior via a scarf design in the 1950s. The same motif covers the iconic façade of the Harrod’s store, bringing the maison’s Parisian roots to London. A walk down memory lane, find famous streets of the French capital and the house’s iconic address 30 Avenue Montaigne mapped along the walls, floors and cabinets inside the space, as well as covering home goods and an entire wardrobe of bags, skirts, trenches, cardigans, jackets, dresses and even an umbrella.
Continue your trip through to a gift ship where you can splash out on a myriad of goodies for friends and loved ones. These include bucket hats, sandals and even furniture dressed up with Dior’s Florilegio print.
For a triumphant finale, enter a leather goods cabinet of curiosities with a variation of Lady Dior and Lady D-Joy bags on offer. The pop-up will even feature a Grey Lady Dior model exclusive to Harrods – don’t miss the chance to get your mitts on one!
The Dior AW23 pop-ups are open at Harrods until August 27.
