WATCH: Dior Light-Up Their Paris Flagship Boutique With A Festive Look

30 Avenue Montaigne will never not be the place where Carrie fell and embarrassed herself in front of the judgy eyes of Parisians. We’re talking about Monsieur Dior’s original HQ, the brand’s birthplace and Dior’s oldest boutique, as imagined all the way back in 1946. The townhouse (also known as Colfichets) in the middle of the one-way street synonymous with the true Parisian shopping experience, 30 Avenue Montaigne still serves as Maison’s headquarters as well as their global flagship store. It’s the boutique that’s seen around the world when Dior is talked about. And as of earlier this week, this vision just got a tiny bit shinier – just in time for the holidays.

7 days, ten people and 750kg-worth of decor – the brand-new Christmas look of the famed shop took a lot of effort. The lit-up façade recreates the shape of a Christmas tree, with 18 lit-up animals popping up between the 2000 metres of garlands. Doesn’t your box of baubles suddenly seem a bit sad? If you need reassuring beyond just the numbers, seeing it all happen in a video timelapse might be more of your style. Watch above and get some inspo for this year – the standards have just been set higher than ever.
