#DIESELTRIBUTELEATHER: ARRIVES AT SELFRIDGES
Launching worldwide February 1st- and available to us lucky Londoners from-erm, right about now-over at Selfridges, who’re currently holding a 3 day global exclusive, Nicola Formichetti’s #DIESELTRIBUTE continues with a new leather capsule collection. Following on from the hugely successful Denim range, 11 articles of apparel, 5 accessories and 4 ‘intimate options’ (just how intimate we’re not yet certain?) have been born from a rummage through the brands 35 year historical archives in Breganze Italy. Centred on a piece by piece process of reconstituting vintage materials- which comes off pretty punk, our stand out fave for the ladies is a short and sex-ay dress assembled in patchwork form from over a hundred leather patches. The effect is a little Suicide Girls somehow, but y’know- when they classed things up, and came over all glossy for that spread in The Face. Permission to drop all usual office activity find this spread, and go SHOPPING for a Friday night look?! Please. Pretty please.
