Diesel A W14 Campaign

So apparently that first image drop of Diesel’s AW14 campaign which we posted a while back was a mere preview. With the subject of Diesel’s email containing the full Nick Knight shot shebang reading ‘Colton Haynes,’ were beginning to understand the use of the word ‘mere.’ M.T.A Mr Haynes has been in front of the lens since the tender age of 15, and now in his prime beefcake stage- his emergence as the star of this ensemble cast, affords the whole set up an extra twist of epicality. Epicality apparently isn’t a real word, but it ought to be made one for occasions such as this. Dubbed the ‘neo-neo classic campaign’ for it’s amalgam of beautifully sprawling bodies-a set up which recalls Renaissance frescoes, and the digital- through the inclusion of internet cast mortals, Knight’s suffusion of glitching effects across the whole set up has us transfixed. In print, it sort of gives the impression Haynes hotness is tearing up the pages around him. No joke.
