In news that broke just moments ago, Jil Sander have announced that Rodolfo Paglialunga will be exiting the brand as Creative Director after three years, having shown what will be his final collection last month in Milan. Rodolfo said, via a statement this AM, “it was a great pleasure to collaborate with everyone in Jil Sander and to give my contribution in the brand’s history and legacy”. Alessandra Bettari, CEO of the brand added,”We decided to terminate our professional journey with Rodolfo Paglialunga together with the designer himself. We want to deeply thank Paglialunga for his great job at Jil Sander and the respect he paid to the brand’s DNA”. So, question is: what’s next? Will Jil herself make triumphant part deux?
